Rewatching Smallville. Going through it with my 11 year old daughter. She loves it, and I’m getting a huge kick out of her frustrated & excited reactions over Clark & Lana’s on again off again relationship dance. We’re in the beginning of season 3, and still have a long way to go. The show stands up pretty well, despite the dated visuals. Nice to pass on my love for Superman to at least one of my kids. Or is she passing on her love of teenage drama to her dad?
Dear DC Diary: DC COMICS- there are now thirty separate Batman titles on the rack at my LCS. THIRTY. Please stop diluting this American icon’s status and tremendous legacy. Thank you.
Dear dc diary I have really been enjoying task force z its funny and Jason is being
written well I hope he gets an ongoing soon as he is my favorite robin.
I’m also really enjoying worlds finest its lighthearted and fun just what dc needs more of.

well I can read a little now also I’m really looking forward to the Gotham knights game
This is a novel perspective, especially coming from a big Batman fan. Based on DC’s (predicted) sales numbers; seems like fans want nothing but Batman. I know there’s Batman fatigue among a certain segment of the DC fanbase, but I never heard this “dilution” argument before. Very interesting.
I have heard it don’t agree with it a lot of the batman things coming out
have been else world so I don’t think they do him harm also I don’t think the family titles count as his book as he may not be in there at all and I am batman has nothing to do
with batman its jace fox and he hasn’t even talked to any other batfamily in this time line
edit except batwing because they are brothers
Slowly getting back into my actual comic book reading hobby. While I wasn’t always the greatest at keeping up with the current runs, I at least read stories of my favorite characters. From 2019 to 2021 I took a hiatus from reading, and while I’ve never lost my love for comics, I just forgot what it felt like to read them because my attention was being thrown elsewhere. Even with the digital comics here, something would pull away my attention and motivation. It feels good to get back to stories, and maybe I’ll even reread some. I haven’t read the beginning archs or RHATO Rebirth since I was 17… I’m 20 now
Yeah… it’s good to read again. It brings me back to happier times.
