DCU "Red Lantern" Release Notes - July, 2020

The Red Lantern Corps derives their power from the emotional spectrum of rage - serving as the baddies to many Green Lantern adventures. We took a brief opportunity to don a red ring, but focused our rage to smite bugs within the DC Universe app!

Highlights

General

  • Community: Cleaner, less intrusive banner images
  • Community: Ability to sort topics by ‘Latest’ and ‘Top’ per sub-category
  • Community calendar now collapsible

iOS

  • Comics: Show comic book progress bar in more places
  • Community: Arrows showing replies to comments now visible in Community

Android

  • Community: Arrows showing replies to comments now visible in Community

Whoa, you’re picture’s glowing.

I’m just not good at dealing with change.
It’s happened a lot, and when change happens it normally isn’t a good thing.

I already like the updates but I will say sometimes there are issues when it comes to Android users and IOS users. They don’t always get the same features. But change can be good. :nerd_face:

We introduced for mobile the ability to more easily navigate comments in Community- if someone replies to your comment, you’ll now notice in the lower right a little “Reply” icon you can click to expand. This will save you on having to scroll down to see if anyone replied!

Calendar looks good, I like that it’s collapsible and same with the less intrusive banner images. Not that I had a great amount of rage at them before now, but it’s nicer when things are cleaaan! I also love sorting topics. :partying_face:
