So happy to see this.

I made a post about this specific short story a while back (got very emotional reading it):

Hope it takes the award.

I had already read your post on it, beautifully said. I also hope that it wins, but knowing that it got nominated is a big enough win for me.

Some really awesome stuff here - that Generations story is top tier! And Wayne Family Adventures means that Stephanie Brown is an Eisner nominee!

Glad to see so much quality being recognized. What a difference from our presence at awards 10 years ago!

What happened 10 years ago?

During The New 52, hardly any DC titles were nominated for awards. It was a bit of a slump, critically.

How odd, given how high sales were at least for the first two years.

There’s often a disconnect between critical and financial success.

I’m pulling for James Tynion’s THE NICE HOUSE ON THE LAKE to win Best New Series.

This is like the Oscars. It’s fun.

And yeah, I agree, critical and financial success rarely matches up.

In the case of THE NICE HOUSE ON THE LAKE though, it’s critically acclaimed, and it sold a ton…

…a very rare mix.

I’ll be rooting for…

Superman: Red & Blue #5 “Generations” for Short Story
Nightwing #87 for Single Issue
Nightwing for Ongoing Series
Superman: Red & Blue for Anthology
I’d vote Alex Ross for Cover, but I didn’t read any of those books

Mark Waid, Grant Morrison, Steve Englehart and Gaspar for Hall of Fame(based on pure favortism on my part)
