Starting at midnight on December 1st and right on through 11:59pm on December 31st everything I read will be a DC comic, everything I watch will be a DC movie or TV show and everything I listen to will be a DC audio show or soundtrack. It’ll be a #DCemberToRemember!
I’ll do my best to chronicle it all here with an ongoing list of what I read/watch/listen to with reviews, thoughts and/or recommendations.
Anyone interested in joining me in this mission/quest/immersion?
Not me. December is Christmas season and taken. I also have at least one movie scheduled for viewing per month, and this sounds too limiting, since books on The Battle of The Philippine Sea or interesting movies I find are off limits unless they are a comic or one of 140ish movies.
Plus I recently bought the Last Ronin and need to read it.
I definitely won’t run out of things to watch, read or listen to during my DCember to Remember!
You better not run out. I have seen 102 DC movies, and there are at least 30 I have not seen (and two star me). Plus I can last at least a month on Stargirl alone.
An interesting idea. Probably 95% of the comics I read are DC, but I’m not going to limit myself the rest of the way. I’ll be curious to see what you delve into. --JT
There are so many shows, books and movies I’ve been meaning to get to this year but haven’t made time for. Limiting myself to DC properties should help make a significant dent in that list and allow me to start 2023 with a more manageable list.

For my part, I could also definitely do the read/watch aspects of the challenge (I’m almost there as things stand in those categories), but the listening aspect would kill me. I don’t get into soundtracks enough for them to sustain me.
The Sandman audio series, Batman Unburied and the two seasons of Batman: The Audio Adventures make this a lot easier for me - no doubt. I’m going to miss music the most and January 1st will start with an album for me!
Well…this should make enjoying popcorn while watching DC movies and TV shows in my DCember To Remember much more fun!
I’m just a few days away from starting my DCember to Remember and I’m adding video games to the list. I have the Arkham series, both Injustice games and a few DC Lego games so plenty of options for whatever mood I’m in.
I’m also looking at the books I have that I haven’t read yet and will be digging into those for sure. I hope this DCember gets me caught up on a lot of stuff I’ve always wanted to read, watch or play and that when I start 2023 I’m up-to-date on Ultra books and have made use of the stuff I’ve bought.
Oh, and there’s the DC Yule Log as well - always a fun thing to have playing on the TV while I read or listen to soundtracks, audio shows or podcasts.

Ha! I can’t do that, though I do have DC shoes so I can wear those each day and DC coffee cups to drink out of each day!
I have tickets to see Glass Onion this evening in theaters and will still check out Black Adam unless it disappears from theaters sometime soon, so I’m half and half. I’ve got a huge to read pile but a fair amount of it is not DC and I’ve never been one to collect DC related music… But I did just add the Black Friday HBO Max streaming deal last night so I’ll be watching some things I haven’t finished, like the last seasons of Lois & Clark and rewatching some others (I rewatched bits of Man of Tomorrow last night).
Seriously, though, please remember to drink water…
