From the “Department of Considering All Angles, Eventualities, Outcomes and Possibilities”, comes this inquiry:
Facebook is very, VERY notorious for trolls. What’s to say some don’t join your group there, discover DCU as a result of joining and then sign-up for free trials here and start bombarding us with a bunch of useless, toxic HS (you may substitute “bull” in place of “horse” if you like 
)?
I have iron clad confidence to infinity and beyond in our moderators that they will always keep this community the wonderful New Genesis-like haven it is. They have substantially more imperative things to do than play babysitter for the entitled brats that gave Facebook a bad name and could potentially make this community unpleasant as well.
Facebook could serve as a Boom Tube for trolls to come here. I just want to be sure that’s been thought of before we go advertising this haven of a community elsewhere. I know DCU is already known there of course through various discussions and the like, but I want to be sure we’re not opening Pandora’s Box too.

I hear what you’re saying, and I thank you for your concerns & thoughts. I think it’s worth the “risk”. Could there be trolls? So long as humanity & the internet exists, there will always be trolls. We can’t be afraid of the trolls, or else the terrorists…I mean the trolls win, lol.
C’mon, make it a Classic Trilogy reference at least 
Yes, the trolls will always find their way to where they’re not welcome. So far, we have mercifully been spared their stupidity and we would all like it to stay that way.
Again, my faith in the moderators is total and absolute. I fully trust them to safeguard this community.
I certainly don’t mean to harsh your buzz though. I hope it works out well. I’m still contemplating a join, if you’ll have me.

No worries Vroom, you and every DC Member are always welcome. I think the best fans & people in this fandom are from DC! It always makes me happy to come across another fan and even become friends. I would love it if there were a convention just for DC, lol. Maybe one day I’ll help get that started, lol.
