Would you guys wanna see some low budget movies made for and released straight to the DC Universe service or no? I’m not talking about Superman, Batman, and so on…but some lower tier heroes/villains. I think that could work…make some animated and some live action.

If Denzel wants to be a superhero then let him have a better and bigger role as John Stewart. He fits John perfectly

Once you hire Denzel you no longer have a low budget film. Also, low budget kind of begs for minimal special FX. So grounded characters and power sets that wont require alot of cgi are probably their best bet. Take Joaquin Joker for example. So for me, the Question, Huntress, Ted Kord Beetle, Deathstroke, Ragman, Spectre (I get that he has a huge power set, but they are varied enough that practical fx could work) just to name a few.

No doubt that Denzel alone would maybe go over budget and for the record, I have others in my fancast over him as John Stewart but was just saying that I don’t see his age as such as bad thing and wouldn’t get mad if he was in the running for Green Lantern Corps.
I agree about there being many good character that wouldn’t require a lot of cgi or need a big budget production.
Deathstroke will always be an instant yes for me but Question would be great as well

I think Denzel would be better as Lucius Fox. It just feels more fitting to me. I would also cast Omari Hardwick as John Stewart instead.
It worked with JOKER (2019) and DC wants to do it a lot more so yeah! Let’s do it until we all die!
