That scene (the terrible-prosthetic people on magic drugs) was…
very Buffy.
It did remind me of the Buffy episode in like season 2 where there is that one zombie football player guy
Nia is a really great addition to the show and the Arrowverse.
The most terrifying species.
Aww Nia. I love that she was able to grow up in a place that was more accepting and that she felt safe to tell Kara that she is trans.
Those frat boys really are terrifying. Even Alex couldn’t get a confession from them.
It turns out to not quite be as advertised, of course, but the fantasy of a paradise town that’s fully accepting and welcoming of variance is lovely.
Very true.
It’s so cool that Nia looked up to Cat Grant and now works at CatCo.
Alex is realizing something is wrong with her! J’onn knows what’s wrong with her… This is awkward.
Kara’s naievete is sometimes more charming and sometimes less.
"If it’s one daughter per generation, why would they assume - " hon.
Yup. She’s so hopeful, it’s sweet, but it does sometimes blind her to certain realities.
I do like that Kara sees the truth for what it is in that situation though. Nia is their daughter as well and they shouldn’t have assumed, but Kara knows why they would assume (even if it’s not fair).
Brainy as a bro! LOL!
Absolutely delightful. Brrrros.
That scene was hilarious.
That’s really sad, but at least they get to say goodbye.
Some of those dreams are more like nightmares. Experiencing them would be scary.
Ooooh, they’re paralleling J’onn-knowing-about-Alex here.
