GA: How close do you think I can get to that bubble without popping it?
BC: Get that thing away from me!
This one got real complicated real fast. It’s a bit out of whack in a few spots, but I like how it turned out overall.
This is cute, I like it (especially with context)! Nice work
I think it looks great. Everyday scenes are the absolute hardest. Give me a Superman vs Darkseid any day.
A great fun scene. Nice posing
I pity the fool who thinks I cheated!
I really enjoyed how the water murkiness came out. I drew with pencil and blended with my fingers. I may have also erased some to get the depth I wanted.
I still plan to draw another example of that style for this month, just need to find the time!
For the DC Couples, I drew Avalance (Ava Sharpe and Sara Lance) from my favorite show DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. They were one of my favorite DC couples. legendaryislandofmisfits forever!
Miss that show. Was so much fun.
I always enjoy your work when you draw a likeness of a real person.
Thanks for bringing back some good LoT memories!
For the final part of the challenge, chiaroscuro, I drew Killer Croc. He seemed like another villain I would not want to encounter in the dark.
The scales on Killer Croc show off the shadows and light really well. Definitely don’t want to run into this guy in the dark!
Here’s Joker, just chillin’ after being the villain that he is (allegedly).
That blood could have come from anywhere!
Just for comparison, here is what it looks like without the background effects.
Looks awesome™ really like how you shaded the scales.
Really like the lighting. Gives joker great menacing vibes.
Awesome job on both! Croc is my fav!
All the art is looking great so far, but you all clearly forgot who the best couple really is.
I hope I captured their likenesses.
