DC Comics Movie Serials

During the Forties several DC characters were adapted to movie serials. I was then wondering which ones are your favorites? Which ones do you think were done well and which one’s do you think were done poorly. For simplicity’s sake I am only including characters who were owned by All-American or National at the time, hence no Captain Marvel or Spy Smasher.

  • The Batman (1943)
  • Hop Harrigan (1946)
  • Superman (1948)
  • Congo Bill (1948)
  • New Adventures of Batman and Robin (1949)
  • Atom Man vs. Superman (1950)
