I respect that!
I’m trying to be the “cool uncle,” which I interpret as being generally irresponsible about things like this and laughing in the face of parents groups.

Being an uncle of sorts (to three cats, that is), I liken myself as a “cool uncle”.
I mean, don’t tell my brother or his wife, but…

…I spoil their “kids” with ample treats and toys when able. To a responsible degree of course, as I’m all about fun, just on a responsible level.

Zip it, Helen. Zip-er-oo. They’re just toys.
Another item for your Huntress shopping list:
Available in droves (and then some) at Walmart as we “speak”.
Huntress (in different threads) is also in a multi-pack that was released outside the U.S.:
The McFarlane Store now has the following in stock (not linking to anything, as its older product and can be easily found after you click/tap the DC Multiverse tab):
@moro I think you and I were talking about this a few days ago:
If so, its in-stock and ready for ya.
I wish you didn’t share this
Your bank account said “Damn it, Vroom! At least buy me dinner before you do that again!”, didn’t it?
Yeah bank account, shelves, and even storage boxes are all giving me the middle finger at the moment, and if I buy this it would impact all three .
Well, if they’re already angry at you, what’s a little more…?
“What’s a little more?” “Just one more piece!” “I can make it work!” “But but but it’s a cool lookin’ Batman Joker hybrid robot… from a comic I dislike”.
Collectors…
Right?
I mean, if you can have fun, then have fun and then some.
@moro You tell those shelves “Don’t gimme no lip, or its into the shredder for ya!”
Of course, they’d say “Yeah, well, you’d have to buy more of us afterward. No advantage for you there, Hoss.”
Its at that point where you say “Beans to this. I’m not arguing with shelves.” and then excuse yourself from the room until those shelves have had a breather and are ready to work with you in peace and harmony.
Something I’ve gone over with myself several times over the years: "I already have the original version of product A, but the repack in the new packaging is pretty cool.
Do I stick with just the original release of product A or get the repack, too?
What to do, what to do?"
What’d I do?
Bought the repack, naturadiddily!
Followed quickly by, “this is the last one, I swear!”
This has been my life philosophy and I can promise you that it’s caused me absolutely 0 negative consequences. …Yup… 0…
That and “Eh, I don’t need this repaint. I have the previous versions of this figure, so repaint, schmepaint!”
Five minutes later as I’m leaving the store…
“I’m glad I got that repaint! Last one on the pegs, too.”
Scoped out this list of upcoming Multiverse wares o’er at Toyark (Don’t give me any lip about it being in all caps, as I didn’t write the thing, I just C/P it ):
Much of that list has been mentioned here before, but there are a few new items listed too, such as:
Assorted thoughts:
I’m thinking Black Lightning and Green Lantern will be Walmart’s next Gold Label duo after the upcoming Vampire Superman and Captain Atom, as they fit the DCvV/miscellaneous character theme Walmart’s Gold Label product has had this year.
Definitely curious to see how Clayface will turn out for his three-pack. It can’t be a simple reissue of the Mega figure due to pricing, case pack-out/weight and the like, so maybe a completely different and new Clayface (@DC89 I’d love for it to be Basil Karlo too, but I’m guessing it’ll be Rebirth-based)?
The best thing about that set will be that it features McFarlane’s first Kate Kane Batwoman!
SN: A 3-inch Page Punchers edition of Kate packed with ‘Tec #854 would be quite rad. Just sayin’.
Its interesting the Bat-raptor is seeing new life. Will the included modern Batman be an all-new sculpt, or a repaint of an older figure (i.e. 'Tec #1000 Batman)?
I’ll likely pass on the line art figures. There might be a winner there, so I won’t say “Not for me.” until they’re shown, but I also haven’t bought either of the current line art figures (Batman and Black Adam, o’er in the 7-inch Page Punchers line) and have no inclination to do so. Hoping for the best, but will likely pass on them.
Superboy Prime in patina…yeah, I’ll get it. I have nearly every Superman-related figure from McFarlane so far, so I may as well.
Seriously though, if Prime turns out as nice as the patina Unchained Armor Superman did, I will happily snag him.
Regarding the older rumored product that carried over to this new list, I’m in for:
The Justice Buster could be cool, too. I have the C&C version from Mattel’s 6-inch Multiverse line though, so I’ll wait and see how McFarlane’s materializes before deciding.
DAMN! That’s a lot of figures. I don’t know how I’m gonna catch up with these LOL
I got this!
That’s all on top of the following schtuffs that are scheduled to drop in the next month and change (and out now, where noted):
Pick the stuff you want the most and stick with that. Beats trying to get it all, which your wallet (and shelves ) will be thankful for, as will you, so you’re not stressing out over trying to “collect them all!” when its really only select pieces you may truly want.
Of course, if you genuinely want to “collect them all!”…then see if your bank offers a “Money for toys now and I’ll pay you back, later.” loan. You might be surprised.
Thanks for the list of potential releases, @Vroom. I edited the quote to reflect the pieces that fall in the maybe to must have categories. Everything with “Super” in its name is of course a must have for me, with the exception of the Superman & Superman if Earth 3 set. If that’s just a repack of previously released figures, I’ll probably lay off of it. Most excited for the collector Action Comics #1 Supes. Having a Spawn figure would be cool. I’ve never read the comic, but I like the character’s design. The Batman 6 pack is probably lowest on my list. Not sure I want six Bats all at once. Again, depends on whether I already have the figures and/or if there’s anything in the pack that I consider a must have look for Bruce.
Still. No. Vanilla. Wonder Woman. WW 800 is around the corner; surprise us Toddfather!
Words of wisdom.
Keep this in mind though, mon frere:
That set comes with Atomica and if she’s a teeny-tiny Atomica, then you can have your Multiverse New 52 Lex step on her, ala Forever Evil #7 (Spoiler warning be darned! That issue came out nearly a decade ago. ).
Of course, if its a regular-sized Atomica, then the Page Punchers Lex better head for the hills.
I’m pretty sure if you had a dollar for every time I’ve said this, you can probably buy yourself a few more figures: I’ve read the story, and have no recollection of what you’re talking about .
Let’s see what actually gets released. I’m just glad Supes & Co. seem to be well represented overall. I think it’s time for a new mold though. I love the buck they’re using for Hush (For Tomorrow; I agree) Superman (my favorite Superman figure in the 7” scale), but I’m ready for a new sculpt. Hopefully the collector Action Comics #1 isn’t just a repaint and is accurate to the source material.
