The Batman Adventures
#26 ‘Tree Of Knowledge’

Writer: Kelley Puckett
Artist: Mike Parobeck

It’s another Team-up of Batgirl & Robin in this issue, Barbara Gordon and Dick Grayson are in college, Criminology class, their teacher give them a assignment about a gun.
It’s a good story, I actually like it, the main character is Barbara Gordon, I would give this story 4 stars, Reason I’m not writing too much, is I don’t want to spoil the story for the first reader. :slightly_smiling_face:

Over the years you see little mentions of Finger and Robinson to get around the whole “created by Bob Kane” thing. Sometimes it’s right in the credits box where they give “special thanks” to the two.

Here’s some Mike Parobeck Superman back in 1993 in the Superman/Batman magazine

He also drew Superman back in the 1992 JSA series.

#27 ‘Survivor Syndrome’

Writer: Kelley Puckett
Artist: Mike Parobeck & Rick Burchett

Tom Dalton a Olympic champion lost his wife by a gangsters, so he dress as ‘Batman’ and fight crime. When he’s shot, it’s up to Batman to help him to deal with his pain.
It’s a good and interesting story. Batman knew what Dalton is going through and decided to help this poor man. I would give this issue 4 stars. It’s a good fast pace story.

Writer: Paul Dini, Bruce Timm, Ronnie Del Carmen
Artist: Dan Riba, Bruce Timm, Ronnie Del Carmen, Glen Murakami, Kevin Altieri, Butch Lukic

30 years ago, this was the only The Batman Adventures comic I’ve never gotten, I’m forever thankful that DC Universe Infinite has the comic in their library, so at the time I had no idea The Holiday Knight episode from The New Batman Adventures was based on this special issue.
It’s really hard to pick which Version I like the best, I really enjoy both of them.
Anyway there’s tons of good story here by those who work on Batman The Animated Series, I give this comic 5 stars.

Writer: Kelley Puckett
Artist: Mike Parobeck

It’s Christmas time in Arkham, Harley Quinn is back, dressing as a famous doctor to do research on the Joker.
While the story doesn’t make any sense, it was still a great book to read, I enjoy reading it, I give it 4 stars.

Writer: Kelley Puckett
Artist: Dev Madan

If you wanted to see the rest of the The Batman Adventures comics, starting with issue #29, you’ll need to subscribe to Ultra to read The Batman Adventures Vol. 4. :slightly_smiling_face:
Anyway Ra’s Al Ghul is missing, and it’s up to Batman & Talia to find him to see what he was working on.
I give this issue 3 1/2 stars, it’s a good comic, also this is a first issue without Mike Parobeck, still these guest artist are good artist.

I’ll just go over to my box here and pull out the issue.

Dev Madan did a few issues of Batman Adventures, but his biggest splash was the 18 issue Young Heroes in Love series in 1997.

#30 ‘Natural Born Loser.’

Writer: Kelley Puckett
Artist: Rick Burchett

How should I start this? You wanted to hear my origin story, well it all started way back when I was a kid, reading The Batman Adventures #30, I find it interesting that a guy name Marty looking for a missing piece of a map, only one of the criminal Trio has the map, when asking about the map, they begin to tell their origin story!
I would have to give this issue 3 stars. :slightly_smiling_face:

#31 ‘Anarky’

Writer: Alan Grant
Artist: Dev Madan

A new villain is in town who acts as a judge, jury and executioner, it’s up to Robin to stop him, I actually don’t like this issue at all, from the coloring in the comic to the villain Anarky. It just make me sick anytime I read this issue, please don’t get me wrong, Alan Grant is a great writer and Dev Madan is a great artist, this issue is by far my least favorite comic for The Batman Adventures, I give it a half star.

#32 ‘A Soldiers Story’

Writer: Dan Raspler
Artist: Mike Parobeck & Rick Burchett

After being gone for 4 month, Mike Parobeck is back along with Rick Burchett for this issue, it was great to see his return in this issue, Dan Raspler is a guest writer for this issue, in this issue we see Batman more as a Detective by putting it to good use while we see a bit of crime fighter.
Without spoiling it, I actually enjoy this, I give it four stars, cause we mostly see Batman as a Detective. :slightly_smiling_face:
