DC Animated Club Wonder Woman (2009) Watch Along July 21st, 6:00pm PST/9:00pm EST

Ah, Steve Trevor…kind of an eh take that’s elevated by the sheer charm and charisma of Nathan Fillion.

Steve Trever! I like Chris Pine Steve Trever the best.:slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah, Pine’s is probably the best other media take on Steve.

I think Steve’s reaction is just about anyone’s reaction to this moment.

I remember it was in the 70s show. It probably has been in different takes on the comics too.

Oof, felt that one from here!

“Wow, I haven’t had this dream since I was 13.”

Ok I take back what I said about Wonder Woman copy this film.

Yeah, it’s a very early 00s take on things. I don’t think they could have gotten away with the “god your daughter has a nice rack” thing today.

Now that I think about it, how would he know that Diana is her daughter?

Good point.:slightly_smiling_face:

I much prefer the takes on the origin where Diana has to hide herself to participate in the contest against her mother’s wishes. Gives the story a little more drama.

I’ve always like the contest game.:slightly_smiling_face:

I just realized: Persephone is likely named that as a reference to the Persephone in Greek mythology, the lover of the the Greek equivalent to the devil.
