Ah. Well, in E1, a Zeta Tube from Mars to Earth was being set up. It then 'sploded after J’onn went through it, but he made it out okay.
So, there’s been a bit of a mystery as to how and why the ZT was sabotaged.
Unrelated, I liked how J’emm was “labeled” as son of Sa’turn, as it reminded me of this:

I usually abhor crossovers like that, but I admittedly would check out Justice League/Harry Potter #1.
