In the comic books, John Constantine premiered in an issue of Swamp Thing.
Constantine gets his on tv show but it only lasts a shortened season before cancellation.
Swamp Thing gets its own tv show but it only lasts a shortened season before cancellation.
Both shows were intriguing takes on the characters that held to their original ideas, but were gone too soon to further.
Constantine went on to my favorite CWDC show Legends of Tomorrow to continue his story with the same character I enjoyed.
I only hope maybe Swamp Thing can make an appearance as well? He wouldn’t work as well traveling on a ship.
Or is he cursed to return to the murky depths that spawned him?

I can’t think of any reason why Swamp Thing couldn’t be set on Earth-1 in the CWverse. So maybe they can retroactively make the show part of it, like Constantine. I really hope this happens. And if it does Constantine and Swamp Thing can meet!
