As we saw recently, Hal Jordan isn’t aging gracefully in the YJ timeline. In the comics, when he started to turn grey, it was a sign that he had been possessed by Parallax.
If the YJ team is considering heading down the path of that particular Lantern history, it could lead to the rise of Nekron.
Wouldn’t it be painful to get Wally back, but as a Black Lantern… ?
Never know with YJ? Anything is possible. It’s what makes it so special, amongst a million other things.
I can’t see Blackest Night happening in YJ. It’s a heavily Lantern-focused event, and YJ stays focused on stories about younger characters. All the Lanterns are too grown up to really take center stage.
I agree that it’s unlikely, Hub. Maybe as a singleton episode that peripherally refers to the Blackest Night goings-on. YJ certainly has enough dead characters to make that happen.
And as far as a younger Lantern-related member of the team? We always have Teen Lantern…
