Covers that have just aged poorly.... that wouldn't be made today

Let’s see some DC Comics covers from the past that just would not happen today. I find it interesting how much things have changed with time.

That pretty much said it all, I would say maybe around the 50s, some Batman comic has sadly age poorly. Along with Wonder Woman fighting a sea monster.

This is the first cover that comes to mind for me when it comes to covers that shock me that have been made. No way this cover would be made today. I’m still kinda shocked it was made when it was.

I never had the actual issue but I All-Star Squadron #36 & #37 were two of my earliest comics, so they had the “next issue blurb” and cover that lived in my head for years before I ever got a chance to read it.

I once wrote and drew my own comic featuring all original characters but blatantly ripped off the Real American design for my villain.
