Congratulations Mariko Tamaki!

In last night’s 2020 Eisner Awards ceremony, conducted online for the first time, our own Q&A veteran Mariko Tamaki was awarded Best Writer — in part for her work on the graphic novel HARLEY QUINN: BREAKING GLASS!

Mariko is taking over as the principal writer of WONDER WOMAN. You can read her work on DCU in NEW SUPER-MAN #19, DOG DAYS OF SUMMER, and the 2016 REBIRTH HOLIDAY SPECIAL.

She also wrote the excellent “Supergirl: Being Super” which I believe got a reprint recently.

I had expected it to be here by now, but for some reason it isn’t.

That is interesting

It was a mini series not an original graphic novel

It is not canon. More like an Elsewhete story, of which we have several in our library

A great story
