So I’m a little disappointed at the selection of comics to read on here. But I’d lile to think I’m just macigating the system wrong. Couldn’t find ( dark knights metal, Flash God Speed, or the Black Lantern Corp Series) any suggestion or advice?

You won’t find a lot of newer stuff here. All those comics you mentioned are still making money in physical sales, so DC won’t put them up here in order to maximize profitability.

Have you tried Savage Hawkman, it is one the "new"52 runs of comics and has a lot of books available.
