Comic Book Print to Digital Request Thread

Here is an incomplete list of Golden Age issues that are digitized and collected in archival quality but are not on the service. I and a lot of other people are fans of DC’s Golden Age, yet the number of missing titles are staggering, especially since all of these I am listing are digitized, and would require (at most) a cover scanned for each issue (which is significantly easier than scanning internal pages, as scanning a cover does not require the binding of the book to be removed. Thanks to DC Library Archivist Benjamin LeClear for that bit of information)

First of all, for the section of Golden Age comics, only Golden Age issues should show up in a series when the Golden Age filter is on.
Jimmy Olsen is Silver Age, as the stories content and publication date both lines up more with the Silver Age
Golden Age tag missing:
Action Comics
Detective Comics
Batman
Superman
World’s Finest Comics
Wonder Woman
Adventure Comics

The next bit is an incomplete list of archival editions, omnibuses, and digitized reprints that contains Golden Age features. I will update this list as I learn more, and I have another suggestion going up with the digitized but not complete Silver Age titles as well.

The next thing I would suggest would be to add the newspaper strips of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman collected by IDW in their comic strip reprint series.
The final one I have may not come to fruition, as they were not printed by DC, but it would make for a cool DC Universe Infinite exclusive. The archives should track down the surviving pieces of the unreleased “Written Off” pages that were destined for destruction. Roy Thomas published part of a JSA one, and he has some of a Green Lantern one, as well as other private collectors having the original art for pieces of different stories. It would be neat to have a collection of those never before seen pieces for fans. More information about this can be found at Alter Ego 2 - How the Golden Age Was Saved : TwoMorrows Publishing, The Future of Comics and LEGO™ Publications.

The reprint collections I have laid out for you here include story content that is roughly 1060 issues long, plus the comic strips (Around 11 years of Superman in the Golden Age, 4 years of Batman, and 1 year of Wonder Woman.)
This is an easy way to add an extra roughly 17000 pages of stories from DC’s backlog to DC Universe to celebrate the change to DC Infinite. (Plus, there are many more Silver Age stories I will touch on at a later date when I finish the list.) I believe there are a few more Golden Age reprints, and I will let you know when I find them. (Sorry for the length, but I did just give y’all a relatively easy way to add an extra 1000 stories)
