Great idea and not something I’d normally think of. Thanks!
Wow that’s a lot of great advice! I am whittling down my items to sign and the advice for taking out of bag first will save me time. Thanks!
I’m going to Terrificon on Sunday with my oldest kid.
Be on time for the Q&As, and if it features a popular creator, get to that line early. The halls fill up fast and there’s nothing worse than that back row. If you’re gonna’ cosplay go for something that’s easy to wear and comfortable. Remember- you’ll be wearing it for the entire day and the more elaborate your get up is the more quickly it’s gonna’ start wearing on you.
Nice. TerrifiCon is one of the best. My favorite when it comes to artists/creators. Free easy parking at Mohegan. I almost went today but I just couldn’t make it happen having already financially committed to a couple events in Sept.
Let us know how it went!
Glad to hear it was a good experience. I’m getting excited and nervous at the same time. I’m not sure my oldest has seen me as babbling and fanboying like this before but now she’s getting excited to go too even if she doesn’t know all these people.
I will! I hope to take pictures
I saw a billboard for this.
Looking forward to the “after action report”.
Any others in the New England area?
I’m not sure. I know I saw this one on my feeds every year and I keep saying I would go so here I go. There may be others in MA maybe near Boston? I don’t know
First update on my day:
More on my first day:
I’m so glad you’re first con went so well!
Here’s the big question: Anything you would do different or to make sure to have/do for your next convention?
I would plan better so that I could attend some panels.
Also although I enjoyed meeting all my idols, I would need to prioritize who I want to meet because the autographs quickly added up in cost but I was caught up in the moment and excitement
One more thing specific to this one: I would have stopped by the Joe Kubert School display to share my sketches. I meant to do so and then time got away from me.
I should be banned from comic conventions for stupidity and anxiety.
Why do you say that?
