First of all, that’s astounding art! Just gorgeous.

But his got me thinking how awesome it would be to have a limited series based in the Burton universe. We don’t have that, do we? I know there are the Batman and Batman Returns comic adaptations (which would be great to have on here one of these days!), but it would be amazing if a new original series could be created that takes place in that universe.

What do y’all think? :hugs:

@Mae, hey hey. No we don’t have a comic based off of Burton universe there was planes to but it got canned. there is a pic some where with a concept cover I remember seeing and it looked great. I would love it if they did this. One of my favorite Superman comics is Geoff Johns Superman Secret Origins with superman look inspired by the one and only Christopher Reeve. I wish they just always used him.

Hey have you read N52 Catwoman? I really liked that run. It’s been some years now but it was good

its a good one!

They did Batman ‘66 a few years ago, so I suppose it’s not out of the question.

I’ve been wanting this for as long as I can remember! And would definitely love to see it happen, and while a limited series would be cool I think an ongoing book would be even better! They could pick up the story right after the end of Batman Returns!

An ongoing series would be amazing. Hopefully characters from Batman '89 itself would also be included, like Knox. Vicky Vale, and The Joker.

Maybe DC scrapped it, because to do it justice they’d need the artwork to resemble the characters so they’d need all the actors’s permissions probably, which would be a huge undertaking. I don’t know if that’s the case, though, and hopefully we’ll get a series in the Burton universe sooner or later!

@Mae, I think the real question is “Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moon light?” :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Hmm apparently there’s still a chance it could happen:
