Ok Fam…… I tried my luck at drawing one of my favorite superheroes of all time….
I was thinking that he took his family on a ski trip, when a devastating cable break on the massive ski lifts, caused Supes to, once again, save the day…
Hopefully I didn’t screw up Supes too bad, especially for my man @moro
Per usual, any comments or critiques is appreciated.
Excellent work, as always @bigblock66. This is awesome. Love the big, sculpted S on the chest, the built physique, the flowing cape and the way it attaches into the emblem and over the shoulders, the texture you gave to the fabric, the thick belt, the colors, the shading… all so sweet! You even gave it a backstory . The pose reminds me of Superman Returns when he pulled the boat out of the water, so does your choice of S design.
Things that would make this look even more amazing than it already is, imo:
- Give him just a little bit longer trunks.
- Maybe bring his head down a bit, so he’s looking diagonally up, instead of straight up.
Never mind my dumb suggestions though. This is already an exquisite work of art, my friend. Love it! Keep being awesome.
Wow, I really love it! That is good, you’re a very talented artist.
Most excellent art as always
That looks awesome! Love the colors on the suit.
Good job on giving my best buddy red trunks. They match his wonderful heart so well.
Yeah l figured it didn’t look right
Really like the cape flow.
Dude it’s fantastic, really.
Very nice (uper, even), @bigblock66!
I especially like the Superman Returns-style s-shield.
I’m just gonna keep practicing
I think this looks great! I love the way you did the “S” insignia.
Love it! How long did it take you? It seems like you only just finished Zee.
How many pieces like this do you have in your total portfolio?
At what point should we be looking for a Kickstarter for your first art book?
Haha. Awe thanks.
It normally takes me a week or so.
Depending on how busy life is going that week or not.
I have a bunch of other art, but alot of it is Marvel related, and so…….
I honestly dont like my art. I use drawing as a tool to help with my anxiety, depression and ocd.
But thank you for the very kind words.
Yesterday i started working on a funny secret project for the new FanWorks thread.
I cant wait for yall to see it.
Is it based on…this:
You’ve already got Superman down, so I could see you shifting focus to the Looney Tunes crew.
