I’ve read Batman, JLA for decades and Superman in the 80s. I just started reading Trinity and really enjoy reading Wonder Woman in the title. What Wonder Woman stories do you recommend?
I think I’m kind of in the minority but I loved the Azzarello/Chiang run from New 52. I personally thought Rucka’s Rebirth story was a hot mess and still can’t make sense of it, but his pre-N52 work on WW was really good.
And post Crisis because George Perez. Nuff said.
I would also recommend the run when Artemis took over. Because it’s quality? Eh, it’s fine but I think it’s an interesting chapter when DC was killing and replacing EVERYONE. Be aware, Deodato’s art is the height of the objectification of female superheroes. Not that it doesn’t still happen but it’s big chests, tiny waists, and tiny costumes. That’s not a judgment on him because it was the industry.
