Wally and John were a great team in the Jl and the JLU animated shows. John tried his very best to keep impetuous Wally in line and to teach him what it means to be a man and a hero. Wally rarely stood still long enough to get the message. Their scenes together were dramatic, humorous and always entertaining.

Excellent choice. Midnighter is one of my favorite DC characters and the 2 are a fun duo to read. Honestly, underutilized imo. Would love to see a new Black Label series starring those 2, or at least Midnighter.

Back in the 2000s when DC brought back Hal and Ollie and didn’t seem to know what to do with Kyle and Connor, I always thought a new Green Lantern/Green Arrow series about them traveling the world getting into adventures would have been a great way to keep the characters active while devoting the main series to their predecessors.
