The Dark Knight

I have a lot of love for Batman '89 and it is very close imo but I can’t ignore the amazing performances from those in TDK. Obviously Ledger was great as Joker but what really puts it over the top for me is Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent.

Of these my favorite is Batman Returns.

My favorite Comic book movie is The Dark Knight Returns Part 2.

Agreed with @IrishX. My most fave is Batman 89 but when it comes to singling out one of the Batfilms as the best TDK is indeed the greatest of them all.

Elements of all the live action films are of their time. Only Mask of the Phantasm is timeless. It’s the Citizen Kane of superhero movies.

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm from 1993.

The Dark Knight is the best Batman movie. And one of the greatest American films of all time. And yes, @IrishX, Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent definitely puts the movie over the top. For me, he actually steals the film from the two “stars”.
