Greetings all! My nieces – age 8 and 11 – want to look at Batman: The Animated Series with me, and I’ve learned no one else in my benighted family has either seen the show nor understands its importance. I want to start them off right. What episodes to you recommend? I’m leaning towards Shadow of the Bat, The Man Who Killed Batman and Joker’s Wild. Any other thoughts?

All of those are pretty good recs, but since you mention that they’re nieces, I might also recommend some of the episodes that highlight some of the awesome ladies in the Batman universe, like Harley & Ivy, Zatanna, and Shadow of the Bat.
