by pure coincidence, I was just reading batman contagion from the mid 90s. I just found it funny how it kinda relates to our current crisis. A fast spreading virus that kills a lot of people. Weird huh. Anyone else thinks so?
It is weird, and now I want to go back and read that storyline.
I mean, it was much more a response to Ebola and terrorism in the late 90s than it is a response to globalism and SARS/COVID. But yes, there is a similar reaction you can get.
Who’s that character in you’re avatar pic? Is that a Dc character?
Yea I pulled the trade off my shelf last week. Some good stuff in there when Tim gets sick. Armand Krol sure was a heck of a mayor, huh?
It’s both flashes. Wally and Barry
Yeah, he was a real ass. Tough time for Jim Gordon because of him.
It is Stephanie Brown! As Robin, on the 2000s variant cover by Derrick Chew of the Robin 80th Anniversary 100 Page Super Spectacular:
Oh wow! That’s cool. She looks so fierce. I love it.
Me too (naturally).
I just read legend of the Dark Knight (1989) & read an arc where Ra’s & Joker combined to create a virus for population control. Was thinking the same as u when I came across that.
Is this storyline on DCU?
Thanks capo!
U bet, anytime.
Hey everyone, we’ve just added Contagion as a collection for easy reference:
https://www.dcuniverse.com/collections/story-batman-contagion
If you’re having trouble accessing this link, you can also find it by going to Comic Books > Storylines- it’s right there at the top.
Enjoy…?
Awesome, thanks! Though I love the “?” at the end.
Any chance of getting the sequel story, Legacy, collected?
I’ll check on this for ya, AKnox!
