Batman Beyond’s first season arrives in a glorious high definition remaster this Friday, and I can think of no better way to mark the occassion than with a good ol’ fashioned Watch-Along!
Come one, come all and settle in for the first two episodes, which are parts one and two of “Rebirth” (a moniker that has some serious mileage across the DC brand).
If you’ve watched Batman Beyond before, you know you’re in for a treat. If you’ve never watched Batman Beyond before, know that you are in for a treat!
Bring a friend, listen to some schway tunes and play a spirited bout of Sentries of the Last Cosmos before the show starts, but please…no splicing
why is season one the only season being remastered? It’s not like they were rushed. I won’t believe that. Could it be that it is another way of keeping us subscribed.
@robzucc The entire series of Batman Beyond is being remastered in HD.
Unlike BTAS, Batman Beyond in HD is coming to DC Universe a season at a time. So, Season One this Friday, then as long as plans stay as they are, Season Two should arrive in September with the third and final season arriving in October to coincide with the show’s Blu-ray release.
@TheOriginalCaptainMarvel It’s not impossible to enjoy Batman Beyond without having seen Batman: The Animated Series and The New Batman Adventures.
That said, Batman Beyond is the fourth show of the DC Animated Universe and does touch upon assorted elements of the prior Batman shows as well as feature select characters from them.
So, it’s really up to you as to whether you’d like to give BB a whirl before seeing BTAS and TNBA. Tomorrow night would be a great time to dive into Batman Beyond
