Granted I am always happy. I mean who is known for being happier than Batman?

So sad to see this series go. At least Cass will be getting up to supernatural shenanigans in Spirit World.

With Tim’s book getting canned as well, I’m hoping that we can get an anthology book similar to Urban Legends that tells one-shot or short serialized stories about various Bat-Family members. I need my Batgirls fix somehow!

The Brave and the Bold is the exact same format as Urban Legends. I’ll be keeping an eye on it for Steph appearances, but I’m quite irked that it’s so pricey and has so many stories I don’t find interesting at all so far solicited.

What you said reminded me that unfortunately synergy still plays a role in how successful a run can really be. It reminds me of the recent Wonder girl series having so much more story yet was canceled little less after the tv show was scrapped.

I thought that was a DC book in general, not just the Batfam.

And synergy sometimes isn’t even enough to guarantee a series. Black Lightning didn’t get an ongoing while the show was running, and we’re just now getting a new Doom Patrol right when the show has been cancelled.

It’s titled “Batman: The Brave and the Bold”. Pretty sure it’s gonna be a Batman-connected book.

When in doubt always assume it is a Batman related book. 99.99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% chance that is right.

I went back and checked the solicits. Half appear to be Batman-related, the other half are non-Batman. I think this is more of a “We could call it Lego DC Superheroes but Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will sell more copies” sort of deal.
