This, on the other hand, makes me so sad. Really wanted to see more of his Steve Trevor with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman. A partial reboot with the DCU would have made a Rucka Rebirth run adaptation possible.

Finally checked out the first issue of “Amazons Attack”…I’ll admit that I was a little harsh in criticizing their choice to give this book that title. But that personal issue aside, this is actually a strong first issue. And I like the idea of having Mary Marvel be more involved in the WW sphere of DC
But please don’t give me more couples to ship. This image is pushing me dangerously close to a new ship

Hahah! I get that, I remember thinking the same thing a few years back when Jessica Cruz and Starfire met in the first issue of Justice League Odyssey:
Something about one powerful lady saving another powerful lady, I guess. The latter being drawn by Stjepan Sejic certainly helped.

Ah! That makes more sense. I imagine that Nubia would be exceptionally faithful with Io, and she would look at Mary as just a kid.
Mary and Yara could be cute, I wouldn’t say no to that.

Really enjoyed issue 1 of Amazons Attack. Love the dynamic with all three Amazon tribes involved. Really hoping this is a thing that continues. Would especially like a title based on Nubia, Yara, or the Banas, or even all 3.
