I actually think more people dislike her character than those who don’t.
I don’t dislike her character, generally because she is such a sweet, genuine, and helpful character, but I do have to say, I do feel similarly to @mannyzecena.10618.
I did understand her feelings about trust in the relationship and etc etc, but she definitely could’ve waited until the crisis was averted/subdued before springing something like a “breakup” on Oliver, especially considering how she started behaving because of the breakup… It definitely had me rolling my eyes way too much.
I have no real qualms with her… but her character does add a different “flavor” than the flavors usually present in similar teams/roles. I wouldn’t exactly be heartbroken if her character got swapped out by a cooler, funnier, grittier, or just about anything else-ier Felicity from another world.
mannyzecena.10618 I just checked and you are correct. I completely forgot about that. Side note, I don’t think she’s a horrible character per se, I just think that sometimes she’s written poorly, and can be over-abrasive at times. I was actually liking her more last season and part of this season, but she made a lot of stupid decisions this year, which endangered other people’s lives. Either way, I don’t think she’s as completely awful as everyone else does. I wouldn’t invite her to my wedding though.
I liked the character and thought she was really cute as she was first presented in the show; but as soon as they threw them into a relationship the character did a 180. I have had periods of really disliking her however she has been somewhat better this season.
Yeah I couldn’t take her indecisiveness. She was totally against Oliver doing the vigilante thing. Then she’s all for it. Then she starts getting more violent than him. It was like pick a stance & stick with it. Hypocritical when she should’ve been supportive & vice versa.
I Feel like the writers use her as a opposing view point when every one is for something she seems to be the one going no no no and then when there against is shes like lets do this
Iris also makes me angry but not on the level of felicity. Like last season iris said “you’re not the flash Barry we are” while that was touching she doesn’t risk her life running into danger every single day and although she had super speed once that doesn’t add up to what Barry’s been through. But I still love her.
@nightwing true she does not risk her life but barry told oliver when he is running he he thanks of his family and friends to make him faster so with im a way she is right
I didn’t spoil anything, it’s an Arrow episode and so obviously she would show up. No reason at all to expect her involvement to be good and in my opinion it’s not
Haha this was Felicity’s public flogging board. I swear I didn’t like the character right away tho. That’s super rare for me, & I’m not saying it’s her as a human. Just the way she was scripted comes off as irritating & abrasive. Like a rash it’s not it’s fault it’s just doing its job.
