I had that one. Little did we know back then that if you read things too much they fell apart. :unamused:

I did not have that one. But I had this one:

…and I still have it.

I was in Tokyo a couple years back and I’d always heard that larger American comic publishers released very limited runs of popular titles in other languages. Sounded like a good opportunity to get something unique for my growing collection. I went to every manga shop I could find (which is to say a lot!) but every time I asked about “Batman” or “Spider-Man” or non manga stuff in general they looked at me like I was crazy.

I had pretty much given up when I went into a used book store on my last day to get something for my folks when I found this!

The kicker? This isn’t even Japanese, it’s Chinese.

Still got mine! :0_batman:

So true. All of my Silver/Bronze age books are sooo fragile now. I stopped rereading them a while back 'cuz I don’t want them to fall apart.

Did you beg?

Bob Haney had just been fired, I think…

I did not beg.

Begging doesn’t work for me either-- and I don’t think Bob has been fired quite yet.

This will always be my favorite version of Catwoman.

That Catwoman 12 Artgerm cover…oh my…I do believe I’m getting the vapors (Southern belle voice).
