I updated my thread again and I’m rather impressed with myself. I am not going to reach the thousands of some of you, but recently I finished 25 issues of Savage She-Hulk and 33 issues of Checkmate (1987) 1-33. That is a good number for me. As I updated looking at my comic history on DCUI, I realized I have read a lot. I started a policy of making sure I read at least one comic every night before bed and I am seeing me finally getting through series that I always wanted to read and being able to read some of the newer releases that interests me. While some of them I have only read issue one so far, I know for several I will be reading more issues. Like I know “City Boy” and those books are all on my continue to read list. They are really good. 2023 feels like the year I fully embraced comics and just allowed myself to enjoy them. Glad we still have a few months to allow me even more time to read!

I am on the fourth Fables compendium and it had helped me catch up to my goal to make 2,023 for the year.
I have read 1,355 for the year and I am now ahead of schedule!

Needed 1,348 to make 2,023 for the year. I am at 1,403! Just need to keep it steady and I will make it.
Finished all the original Fables and am moving on to the other series I’ve never read before such as Fairest. So good.
Haven’t read anything else all month. Have a lot to catch up on now.

Investor/collector…the investor will drop gaga money on a book that’s got a character that may or may not be in a movie that may or may not be made. The collector will find 6 issues of some half-remembered 90’s book in the back of his closet, justify droppin 12 bucks for the remaining 7 issues and another 8 because the story crossed over into 2 other books and ya just cant read a third of the story. TERROR INC. has reaffirmed my sense of who I am and what funnybooks mean to me. That said, it’s,uh, not exactly top shelf stuff. And when there’s a guest spot by either WOLVERINE, PUNISHER, or GHOST RIDER in every other issue, you are swimming in the 1990’s-ness. Anywhat, THANK YOU TERROR INC. and now it’s back to the backest of backs of the closet with you.
